ChainRotShort-form video · Live markets · On Solana
Post it. Coin it. Trade it.
One app on Solana where video and a live market are the same thing. Watch, post, launch a coin, trade it on the spot, go live, and build a name, without ever leaving the feed.
The deal online has always been the same. You make the moment. You give the attention. Someone else keeps the money.
We're ending it.
ChainRot is a short-form video app on Solana. Any video can become a VideoCoin: a real, tradable coin that lives on the video itself. It's a choice, not a tax. Not every video is a coin, but any video can be one. Around that one idea sits a full social network, a real trading terminal, live streaming, prediction markets, and an economy that pays the people who bring the attention.
The On-Ramp
Start here, because it is the whole game. The video screen has one toggle. Watch is the pure feed: videos, no charts, no tickers, no noise, the cleanest thing you have ever scrolled. Trade snaps every coin, chart, and buy button into place. Same feed, two modes, one tap between them.
Friction is where every other attempt at this died. To trade a coin you normally leave the app, find an exchange, make an account, fund it, copy a contract address, set a slippage you do not understand, and pray. Most people quit somewhere in the middle. ChainRot deletes all of it. The wallet is already there, the coin is already on the screen, and the gap between wanting it and owning it is a single tap.
That toggle is how someone who has never bought a token in their life ends up holding one. They watch. They tap. They're in.
The feeds
The feed isn't one thing. The same swipe shows you people, coins, or pure price, depending on the mode you're in.
The VideoCoin
This is what you are trading. We call it a VideoCoin. You make a video, fill out a quick launch card, name it, pick a ticker, drop in the art and your links, and it goes live as a real coin on Solana. From then on the video and the coin are locked together, one and the same, moving in parallel. The buy button sits right on the video, so you watch it and you can own a piece of it without leaving the screen.
It is a real coin on-chain, with its own address, the same as any token. The difference is you never have to go find that address, copy it, or paste it into some other app. The market comes to the video instead of the other way around.

Three ways in
A VideoCoin is not one rigid thing. Here is what you can do with one, starting with the simplest.
The core move. Make a video, fill the launch card, and coin it. The buy button is on the video from the first second, and it trades against SOL like any coin.
Tie it to Nvidia, Tesla, whatever moves. The coin trades against the real ticker, on Solana. Wall Street's chart, no brokerage.
Take any coin already live on-chain, attach it to your video, and make content for its community, with the buy button on your video.
The Door
This is the one that stops the scroll. Tie your VideoCoin to a real stock, and the stock becomes part of the market itself, not something you mentioned in a caption. It is the actual thing your coin trades against. When Nvidia moves, your coin moves with it. Wall Street's chart, on Solana, from your phone. No brokerage. No bank. No suit signs off on it. Buyers never have to touch the stock, open an account, or ask permission. They just trade the coin.
For two hundred years the door to Wall Street was locked, and you were on the wrong side of it. Not anymore. You just walked a video through it.
Communities
You don't have to launch your own to play. Take a coin that's already live on-chain, launched anywhere, and attach it to your video. Now you're making content for a community that already exists, with the buy button on your video. Shill the thing you actually believe in, to the people who already hold it, and let new eyes buy it without leaving the feed.
The Engine
A VideoCoin is a real market, so buying and selling move the price the way they move any market. But what drives it is attention: the videos people actually watch are the ones that pull buyers in, and the buyers move the price. Real eyes become real buyers become a real price. Because there is no presale and no insider ahead of you, nothing moves a VideoCoin except the attention it earns.
So the algorithm is not a nice-to-have. It is the product. A market built on attention is worthless if the attention is fake, which makes attention the single most valuable thing to fake, which means the hardest engineering in the whole company goes into deciding what attention is real. This is the part that took the most work, and it is the moat.
It does not count views. It weighs them.
Real attention never prints new supply; every coin is fully minted at launch. What the algorithm decides is who gets seen, and there is no budget, no back door, no bot army that buys past it. You cannot pay your way to the top of ChainRot. You have to be worth watching. Real attention is expensive to fake and impossible to fake at scale.
Reputation
Every viral moment has two authors. The one who made it, and the one who saw it first. The internet was built on both and paid neither.
Make something, and you build a VideoCoin. Spot something early, and you build a name: a track record of being right before the crowd, built from what you actually did, that nobody can fake.
Reputation here is receipts, not a bio. This is where the next generation of names gets made, on purpose, with proof behind every one.
The Network
Underneath the market is an actual social network, and it is the reason the market has anything to price. You can use the whole thing and never touch a coin.
Live
Creators can go live and pin a coin to the stream. The room watches, reacts, and trades in real time while the creator broadcasts, and viewers earn while they watch. It turns a launch into an event and an audience into a market, all in the same place at the same time.
Prediction markets
Attention is something you can have an opinion about before the crowd catches up, so ChainRot lets you put that opinion on the line. Take a side on a simple question about a video or a creator, will this pop, will it hit the number, and it settles on what actually happens, judged by the result, not by a house.
It plugs straight into live streams. A creator goes live, pins a coin, and the room calls the outcome in real time while it unfolds: will they hit the follower target on this stream, will the coin cross the line before the clock runs out. The broadcast becomes a market of its own, moving with the room.
The Terminal
Scrolling is the front door. Behind it is a full terminal for people who live on charts, and it is the same app, not a separate product.
Proof of Attention
Attention is the asset, so ChainRot measures it and pays it out. Every real action, watching, posting, commenting, trading, earns XP. XP levels you up, and levels open up more of the app. It is quality-weighted and capped so nobody can grind it with a bot farm, and it converts into $ROT. There are badges for what you have done, streaks for showing up, and a running Season with a points race pointed at a projected reward. The people who bring the attention are the people who get paid.
The Economy
$ROT runs the whole thing. It has a fixed supply on Solana, and no one can mint more. The money this place makes gets fed back into this place: the coins, the creators, the people bringing the attention. It does not leak out to a company skimming the top. It circulates.
For now the economy is run by hand, on purpose. Every transaction gets a set of eyes on it while this thing finds its feet. When an automated system earns the wheel, it takes it. Not before.
The Surfaces
This is not a phone app with a cut-down website bolted on. Everything works everywhere. You can watch, launch, trade, go live, and use every feature on your phone or your desktop. What changes is the layout, because the two screens want different things.
On desktop, the feed plays on the left while a live rail sits on the right. That rail is the Timeline, the Wall, a written feed of takes and calls, and it flips to a Trade deck with the coin's chart and a buy or sell ticket. You watch a video and trade its coin at the same time, without covering either one.
On your phone, it's one column built for the thumb. You scroll videos, and the trade ticket, the charts, the Wall, and your bags are all a tap away, docked in place when you need them. Full app, nothing removed, all of it in your hand.

Same app, laid out for the device. Nothing is missing on either.
In the end
That is the whole idea, carried all the way through.
For as long as there has been an internet, the same trade has repeated. You bring the moment. You bring the crowd. A company you never chose keeps the money the moment made. It happened to the people who invented the formats and started the trends, the ones who were early on everything you now take for granted. They got a thank you. Someone else got paid.
ChainRot is the correction. Put the market on the thing people already do. You watch, so the coin lives on the video, the buy button lives on the video, and the worth of a moment flows to the people who made it and the people who saw it first. No broker in the middle. No company skimming the top. No permission to ask for.
Everything in here serves that. The algorithm keeps the attention real so it cannot be bought. Reputation turns being early and right into a record nobody can fake. The stock pairing is here because the biggest market on earth had a locked door, and it never should have. The money stays inside because the people who build the value are the ones who should keep it.
You do not need anyone's permission. You need something worth watching. Bring that, and the rest is already built.
